Mike grew up in a rural corner of the Blue Ridge mountains and served in the United States Navy, deploying twice to the Middle East. He currently works as a civil rights attorney and serves on the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors, where he’s worked to make housing more affordable, expand broadband access, and create more good paying jobs for all levels of education.
Mike is running for Congress because he believes we deserve better. Working families are struggling to make ends meet and Washington politicians are making things worse. Mike will fight for more opportunity and affordability for our families. He’ll work to ensure Virginians can afford a safe place to live, quality health care, and a secure retirement.
